Who Made MOVES On DAY 2? 2020 CrossFit Games DAY 2 RECAP

It’s “Moving Day”!
Positions 2 through 4 shifted event-to-event today in both the Men’s and Women’s divisions, but one thing remained the same: Mat Fraser and Tia-Clair Toomey are still comfortably in first place. We say comfortably, but after two days and nine grueling events, we’re positive that every athlete (even Mat and Tia) are feeling the toll this finals weekend is putting on their bodies.
The day kicked off with a classic couplet of toes-to-bar and kettlebell lunges. From there, a snatch triplet and a 10-round bike race with legless rope climbs before returning to The Ranch for a surprise event: Happy Star. More running, but with burpees and thrusters too. It may have been called “Happy Star” — but Samuel Kwant (who placed 2nd in the event) looked pretty unhappy laying on the ground after completing the workout.
