On to the Semifinals — 2021 CrossFit Games Quarterfinals Results

The top 300 men and women and top 200 teams advance to the CrossFit Games Semifinals.

At the conclusion of the 2021 CrossFit Open, the four-time Fittest Woman on Earth® Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr led the women, and 2020 CrossFit Games fifth-place finisher Jeffrey Adler led the men. After the Quarterfinals, Toomey-Orr stayed the course of dominance, leading the leaderboard yet again in Oceania. Adler remained impressive as well, sliding only two spots and finishing in third place in North America.

The goal of the Quarterfinals for each athlete was to rank in within the following to qualify for the Semifinals:

  • North America: the top 120 men and women and 80 teams (30 men, 30 women, and 20 teams in each of the four Semifinals).
  • Europe: the top 60 men and women and 40 teams (30 men, 30 women, and 20 teams in each of the two Semifinals)
  • Asia, Africa, South America, and Oceania: the top 30 men and women and 20 teams, respectively.

Below are the results of the Quarterfinals for each division on each continent. Note: This article will be updated as CrossFit HQ verifies final Quarterfinal results.

Onto the Semifinals

Originally, all the Semifinals events were going to be in-person contests. Some of them, however, have been changed to virtual events due to complications caused by COVID-19. The Atlas Games and German Throwdown are the two that have been changed to virtual competitions.

The Catchall Virtual Semifinal was also added as an event for athletes who cannot travel to their respective in-person Semifinal event due to travel complications or COVID-related restrictions. Athletes who participate in the Catchall Semifinal will compete against each other similar to each of the other Semifinal events.

After the Semifinals, 38 men, 38 women, and 38 teams will qualify for the 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Games. Two additional men and two additional women who narrowly missed qualifying via the Semifinals will receive one last opportunity to make it via the Last-Chance Qualifier.

The Team Quarterfinals event starts the week of April 19, 2021
