The 2023 Rogue Invitational Qualifier Workouts Revealed

The 2023 Rogue Invitational is scheduled at the Dell Diamond stadium in Austin, TX, for Oct. 27-29, 2023. At the time of this article’s publication, the prize pool for that competition is $1,533,263 and climbing. 

The qualifier workouts for the 2023 Rogue Invitational were released on Aug. 22, 2023, for the qualifier that spans Aug. 25-28, 2023. Four workouts comprise the qualifiers and can be seen below:

2023 Rogue Invitational Qualifier Workouts

Per the Rogue Invitational website, “athletes who have not been formally invited to compete in the CrossFit competition at the Rogue Invitational can earn their spot in the field through the online qualifier.” Entry to the online qualifier is $25.

Qualifier Workout One

In 16 minutes, complete the following:

  • Minutes 0-8 complete:
    • Buy-in of 200 Double-Unders

Then:

  • AMRAP:
    • Four Cluster (clean into a thruster) — Men: 185 pounds, Women: 125 pounds
    • Eight Bar Muscle-Ups

Minutes 8-10 — Rest

  • Minutes 10-16:
    • Establish Three-rep Max Overhead Squat

Qualifier Workout Two

For time:

  • 50-calorie Row
  • 50 Toes-to-Bar
  • 25 Sandbag Over Shoulder — Men: 150 pounds, Women: 100 pounds
  • 50 Box Step Overs — Men: 50-pound dumbbells, Women: 35-pound dumbbells
  • 25 Sandbag Over Shoulder
  • 50 Toes-to-Bar
  • 50-calorie Row

Time cap: 21 minutes

Qualifier Workout Three

Three rounds for time of:

  • 50-foot Dumbbell Suitcase Carry Lunge — Men: 50 pounds, Women: 35 pounds
  • 20 Devils Press — Men: 50 pounds, Women: 35 pounds
  • Three Legless Rope Climbs

Time cap: 12 minutes

Qualifier Workout Four

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps of:

  • Strict Wall-Facing Handstand Push-Up
  • Snatch
    • Rounds of 10-9 — Men: 135 pounds, Women: 95 pounds
    • Rounds of 8-7 — Men: 185 pounds, Women: 125 pounds
    • Rounds of 6-5 — Men: 205. pounds, Women: 135 pounds
    • Rounds of 4-3 — Men: 225 pounds, Women: 155 pounds
    • Rounds of 2-1 — Men: 245 pounds, Women: 165 pounds

Time cap: 18 minutes
