2023 World’s Strongest Man Roster

The 2023 WSM contest will be the final WSM competition for four-time WSM champion Brian Shaw. Shaw is tied for the second-most WSM titles all-time with Magnus ver Magnusson and Žydrūnas Savickas. Only Mariusz Pudzianowski has won five WSM contests.

Shaw holds the current record for consecutive WSM Final appearances at 14 and the world record in the Kettlebell Toss. If there was any year for him to pull out all the stops to achieve a record-tying fifth WSM title, it’s his final one in 2023.

Similarly, 2023 will be Mark Felix’s final appearance in the WSM contest. He will be 57 at the time of the 2023 WSM contest and hasn’t made the Final since 2015 when he finished eighth overall. Whatever he has left in the tank will be unloaded in Myrtle Beach to earn one of the 10 spots in the Final.
