The Definitive List of 2020 CrossFit Games Qualifiers

One of the most common questions received over the last two years by fans of the CrossFit Games is “where can I see a comprehensive list of all the athletes that have been invited or qualified?” The nature of the new Sanctionals format and backfill process, which at times can be dizzying to the casual fan, means that clarity of the Games field at any given moment leaves something to be desired.

Adding to the complexity of the situation, the total field of individual athletes and teams has grown in 2020 thanks to 13 new Sanctionals. To better help the community understand who is going to the Games and how they got there, we’ve compiled the comprehensive list of Games qualifiers and invitees for the individual and team divisions this season.

Bookmark this page for the complete CrossFit Games roster that will continue to be updated across the season.

*This list includes only athletes and teams that have accepted their invite or qualification spot to the Games.

VIDEO: A Solid Season Start For Horvath

Morning Chalk Up traveled to Barcelona, Spain for the 2020 Freakest Challenge and caught up with Nike Training athlete Laura Horvath after notching the first Sanctionals win of her career last month in London. Horvath finished as Hungary’s national champion and also 10th in the Open worldwide leaderboard.

On winning her first Sanctional:

“It was very nice to be on the podium for a change. Last year didn’t really play out how I would have wanted it so it was a good start for 2020.”

Regarding the biggest difference between 2018 Laura and now:

“I was a small girl. Now I know where I’m at what, what I want, what I do. Back then I was just like ‘I love training’ so I was just training 24-7, and that just got me there. I feel like I have to go back to that, lose the expectations and not think about anyone else but me.”

The Secret Weapon of Invictus Athletes

Invictus athletes have been using a secret new product in training and competition…PR lotion!

PR lotion contains bicarb – a natural electrolyte that buffers acid as it builds up in the muscle during exercise.

Bicarb has 40+ years of research on its performance benefits, but has been impractical to use orally due to GI distress – Amp Human’s patented tech unlocks bicarb’s benefits by delivering it safely via the skin.
