Bodybuilder Eddie Guiliani has died at age 87. The legendary bodybuilder appeared in 35 contests across four decades, highlighted by his Mr. World win in 1975. The cause of death remains unknown at the time of this article’s publication. According to a Facebook post by Joe Wheatley, where it appears the news first broke, Giuliani passed on May 3, 2022.

The Brooklyn-native Giuliani was a former training partner of seven-time Mr. Olympia champion Arnold Schwarzenegger, who took to his Instagram to express his sadness for Guiliani’s passing:

“Eddie Giuliani was one of my favorite training partners — so knowledgeable about training and hilarious and kind,” Schwarzenegger wrote. “I loved watching him become a successful trainer and inspiring others. I’ll miss Eddie, but I’m so grateful he was part of my life, and he’ll always be here with me.”
