CrossFit Releases Live Announcement Venues for 2018 Open

Let the Games (or at least the Open) begin.

The 2018 Reebok CrossFit Games season kicks off on February 22nd with the first Live Open Announcement. And CrossFit Games HQ has released the venues for all five live announcements for this year’s Open season.

Traditionally, Games Director Dave Castro announces each week’s workout on Thursdays at 5pm PST. Immediately after, top CrossFit Games athletes face off live on the CrossFit Games website to set a standard and pace for elite scores that week. According to the Games website, the athletes corresponding to each week will be announced at a later date.

The Open announcement venues and dates are listed below. This year’s announcements span three continents over the course of five weeks:

CrossFit Open Week 1 (18.1): February 22nd

Ginasio Poliesportivo Dr. Antonio Leme Nunes Galvao (Morumbi Stadium), São Paulo, Brazil

CrossFit Open Week 2 (18.2): March 1st

CrossFit R.A.W., Gibsonia, Pennsylvania

CrossFit Open Week 3 (18.3): March 8th

Skyline CrossFit, Houston, Texas

CrossFit Open Week 4 (18.4): March 15th

CrossFit Fury, Goodyear, Arizona

CrossFit Open Week 4 (18.5): March 22nd

CrossFit Reykjavík, Reykjavík, Iceland
