2022 Strongman Champions League Bosnia Results — Dainis Zageris Wins

Zageris stood atop the podium with only half of a point to spare.

On Sept. 3, 2022, 13 elite strongmen converged on Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to compete in five events for the 2022 Strongman Champions League (SCL) Bosnia contest. At the conclusion of the single-day competition, Dainis Zageris of Latvia emerged victorious by half a point over the runner-up Rongo Keene of Australia and Roberto Rodriguez of Spain.

The five events were as follows: Truck Pull, Car Deadlift, Farmer’s Walk, Log Lift, and Atlas Stones. Here are the full results below:

  2. Rongo Keene (Australia) — 50.5 points

Truck Pull

Rodriguez set the pace in the truck pull, scoring the first-place time in just under 36 seconds. Keene was within a second behind him for second place.

Car Deadlift

The Car Deadlift challenged each strongman to lock out as many reps as possible. Zageris scored his first event win, scoring four more reps than the runner-up Sulaiman.

Farmer’s Walk

The Farmer’s Walk involved strongmen carrying 155 kilograms down a 25-meter course in the fastest possible time. There was a 60-second time cap, but the entire roster finished within 26 seconds.

With 60 seconds on the clock, each strongman tried to score as many reps as possible with the 140-kilogram log. Zageris scored his second event win of the day with one more rep than runner-up Keene.

The five Atlas Stones ranged from 120 to 180 kilograms. Each strongman attempted to load all five stones in the fastest time possible with a 75-second time cap.
