Hold on tight, and make sure you have a solid grip, because the 2019 ROGUE Invitational just announced the final team event and it is,
Tug of war.
The ROGUE Invitational will take place at Rogue HQ in Columbus, Ohio from May 18th and 19th. The ROGUE Invitational is already one of the biggest CrossFit Sanctional™ events of the year, mainly because it will host the top 10 male and female athletes from the 2018 Games, along with several CrossFit legends who received invites to the event like Jason Khalipa and Dan Bailey to name a couple.
The ROGUE Invitational posted the final team event announcement on their Instagram with the caption, “Final team event. Double elimination. Tug of War. #ryourogue.” To watch the tug of war action go down, The ROGUE Invitational shared with BarBend that the entire invitational will be streamed on their site.
The ROGUE Invitational shared a video promoting the tug of war event, however, there was very little explanation included with how it would be executed on the final day of competition. Tug of war will be the sixth event and is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET.
What we do know, however, is that the ROGUE Invitational invited 10 teams, and so far eight have confirmed. Who do you think will pull through?

The ROGUE Invitational continues to shape up as a must watch event for the 2019 CrossFit Games season. In April, the ROGUE Invitational announced that one of the events would be a biathlon with a CrossFit twist, so between target shooting, and now tug of war, the ROGUE Invitational has our attention.
