Two-time defending CrossFit Games champion Tia-Clair Toomey officially signed with NOBULL, the company announced on Tuesday.
NOBULL announced the partnership with Toomey on their Instagram, and Toomey also shared the video announcement on her personal page.
This is NOBULL’s second major CrossFit athlete signing in the past couple months, as two-time CrossFit Games champion, Katrin Davidsdottir, left Reebok and joined the NOBULL family in June.
Similar to Davidsdottir’s situation, Toomey and Reebok also parted ways in June, but it had yet to be confirmed until today who Toomey would sign with next.
Toomey wrote on her Instagram page,
I am Tia-Clair Toomey. I am NOBULL.
Other notable members of the NOBULL team is four-time CrossFit Games competitor, Brooke Wells, three-time CrossFit Games competitor, Kristi Eramo, three-time CrossFit Games competitor, Jessica Griffith, two-time CrossFit Games competitor, Sam Dancer, four-time CrossFit Games competitor, Jared Stevens, four-time CrossFit Games competitor, Alex Anderson, and two-time CrossFit Games competitor, Tola Morakinyo.
A handful of these athletes will get to rock some NOBULL footwear at the 2019 Reebok CrossFit Games, because in April, the founder of CrossFit, Greg Glassman told Armen Hammer TV in an interview that athletes will now be allowed to wear whatever shoes they want at the 2019 Games. In the past several years athletes all had to wear Reebok shoes.
