Think You Have What It Takes to Take On Mat Fraser and Rich Froning?

Things are continuing to get interesting in Cookeville, Tennessee at Rich Froning’s CrossFit® box CrossFit Mayhem. We’ve known for a few weeks now that Mat Fraser has moved to the town, and that Froning would be creating two teams to represent CrossFit Mayhem at the 2018 Reebok CrossFit Games.

Then last week, we saw Jason Khalipa, Fraser, and Froning all training together, which got us speculating about a possible Khalipa comeback. Unfortunately since then, Froning released a podcast with Khalipa, so we’re starting to lean away from the possible Khalipa, Froning, and Fraser 2018 Reebok CrossFit Games team up. And while all of this has been interesting, things just got taken up a step by Froning and Fraser.

Yesterday, Fraser shared an Instagram video that started eerily similar to Dave Castro’s typical whiteboard event announcement videos. The video shows Fraser and Froning standing in front a whiteboard, then writing, “Fraser Froning Vs The World.” Check out the video below.

In the video description Fraser writes, “Challenges with prizes coming soon. You’ll have 48hrs to grab a partner and get it done.”

This will be the first time two Reebok CrossFit Games champions have ever teamed up to take on athletes across the world. We’re still unsure what the events will look like, or what the prize will entail, but knowing Froning and Fraser we can only guess they’re going to be good.

In addition, there’s been no word on how judging will take place, or submission of other team’s scores. But we’re going to guess it will be similar to how CrossFit regulates other’s scores submissions, which is through a standardized video.

Now the question remains, how many teams will be able to top Fraser and Froning’s scores? If you’ve ever thought about how you compare to some of the world’s fittest athletes, then there’s never been a better time to do.
