How Did Athletes Rank in the Two Workouts Performed in All 10 2022 CrossFit Semifinals?
All 10 of the 2022 CrossFit Semifinal contests are complete. While there is still the virtual Last-Chance Qualifier to come on June 29 through July 1, 2022, for athletes who narrowly missed earning a qualification at their respective Semifinal, most of the 2022 NOBULL CrossFit Games roster is established.
Two of the six workouts at each Semifinal were the same across all 10 Semifinal contests. Typically, Semifinal workouts are programmed by the event’s organizer. However, in 2022, two of the six workouts were programmed by CrossFit HQ were performed at all 10 Semifinals to have more comparable results across competitions since they all filter top athletes to the 2022 Games. The mutual workouts were:
2014 Regional Event 5
10 rounds for time:
- One legless rope climb — 15 feet
- Run — 170 feet
Time cap: 11 minutes
Barbell Complex
Three attempts for max load of:
- Three cleans, plus:
- Two front squats, plus:
- One jerk (shoulder-to-overhead)
Below are the full results of the mutual workouts, comparing all athletes against each other. Of course, this is not a directly equal comparison as the mutual workouts were not performed in the same order at each Semifinal. Additionally, the other four workouts at each Semifinal had unique physical demands that varied and could have impacted performances in the mutual workouts.
