2022 Ms. Olympia Pre-Judging Report

Andrea Shaw faced off against the 20 best contenders on the planet.

Andrea Shaw enjoys her role as the reigning Ms. Olympia, but she has her sights on being among the best of all time in the sport by racking up more of those titles.

That journey continued for Shaw at the 2022 Olympia weekend in Las Vegas, NV. Coming off a third straight Rising Phoenix championship, Shaw looked to three-peat again. via a third straight Ms. Olympia title against 20 contenders hoping to add their names to the prestigious list of Ms. Olympia winners.

Aside from Shaw’s title defense, the contest took on a more significant meaning after former Rising Phoenix winner Margie Martin announced the 2022 Ms. Olympia would be her last contest. After the athletes took their 45-second turns walking onstage, the showdown began.

Shaw’s smile never left her face once she walked on stage, and her confidence was evident with each pose. She was in the middle of the opening callout, flanked by Martin and Trevino.

Angela Yeo would trade places with Trevino during the comparisons. Those three were joined by Angela Yeo in the final callout, making this a four-athlete showdown in the finals.

One round is down, but there is still one to go. The 2022 Ms. Olympia finals will take place at Zappos Theater in Las Vegas on the evening of Friday, Dec. 17. Fans that aren’t in attendance can watch live thanks to the Olympia Productions pay-per-view, which is available on their website.

The start times for each division’s pre-judging and finals have not been announced. The morning sessions and evening sessions on Dec. 16, 2022, begin at 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., respectively. The morning and evening sessions on Dec. 17, 2022, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., respectively.
