Episode 19 of The Mike O’Hearn Show was published on Generation Iron‘s YouTube channel on Oct. 14, 2022. The episode featured the show’s namesake with members of the Generation Iron team — Vlad Yudin and Edwin Mejia Jr. — discussing their predictions for the 2022 Olympia, scheduled for Dec. 16-18, 2022.
The conversation revolved around influencers in the fitness and bodybuilding space and how social media and the volume of content online have altered the culture. After O’Hearn reiterated his belief that focus should be about living up to a standard of consistency for oneself rather than for the validation from others, Yudin steered the conversation toward who O’Hearn believes will reach the podium on bodybuilding’s grandest stage in Las Vegas. Mike O’Hearn’s 2022 Olympia Prediction
O’Hearn prefaced that he has not done any specific research to inform his predictions, but the first physique that came to mind was that of Andrew Jacked. Jacked has had a stellar 2022 season thus far, winning the 2022 Texas Pro in August and claiming the gold at the 2022 Arnold Classic UK in late September.
I think he’s going to come out of nowhere and make damage — he’ll be top three. He could mix this whole industry up.
Standing at six feet, two inches tall, Jacked has a significant height advantage over two-time reigning Mr. Olympia Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay, 2019 Mr. Olympia Brandon Curry, and two-time Olympia bronze medalist Hadi Choopan. Big Ramy stands five feet, nine inches, Curry five feet, eight inches, and Choopan five feet, six inches.

Yudin noted that bodybuilder and coach George Farah trains Jacked. Farah has three Olympia appearances on his competitive resume in the Men’s Open and 202 divisions. He ranked 19th in 2022, 12th in 2005, and fifth in the 202 division in 2008. O’Hearn expressed his interest in getting Farah on The Mike O’Hearn Show to discuss nutrition.
If O’Hearn’s prediction of Jacked ranking in the top three of the 2022 Mr. Olympia contest, perhaps Farah would also share the training secrets that set Jacked apart from the rest of the Men’s Open field.
