On June 12, 2022, at Kaos Strength Gym in Preston, United Kingdom, the 2022 England’s Strongest Man U80KG contest was held. It featured 21 under 80-kilogram strongmen (U80KG) battling across five events: Axle Press for Reps, Axle Deadlift for Reps, Farmer’s Walk, Sandbag Toss, and Sandbag Carry.
Tim Daglish won the contest with 94 points — 5.5 points more than runner-up Josh Lancaster. However, a silver-medal finish wasn’t Lancaster’s accomplishment on the day. In an additional event, Lancaster successfully attempted a 100-kilogram (220.5-pound) heavy dumbbell press, setting a new world record in the U80KG division.

Lancaster’s new heavy dumbbell world record surpassed the previous world record of 96.2 kilograms (212.1 pounds), scored by Daniel Ashcroft at the 2021 Britain’s Strongest Man U80KG contest.

Each athlete was tasked to press a 120-kilogram axle bar as many times as possible.

Farmer’s Walk
Each strongman farmer’s carried a 100-kilogram implement in each hand across a 45-meter course as fast as they could with a one-minute time cap. Athletes dropped the implements every 15 meters, turned around, picked them back up, and continued down the course. Only the first-place time was provided, but the results are as follows:
