What do Arnold Schwarzenegger, James Cameron, Jackie Chan, Lewis Hamilton, Novak Djokovic, and Chris Paul all have in common?
Apart from being known as masters of their respective crafts, they have teamed together to produce a vegan-focused documentary set to premiere on September 16, 2019, in 1,000 theaters across the world.
The documentary is titled ‘The Game Changers‘ and will explore the plant-based diet, particularly for athletes competing in elite sports.
This is the second version of the film which first hit the screens at the Sundance Film Festival last year. This new take features several new athletes and voices, including bodybuilding legend himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Schwarzenegger posted on his Instagram the trailer for the film that was recently released and wrote,
James Cameron and I have teamed up again. This time to terminate outdated myths about protein, strength, and performance. Get your tickets to The Game Changers movie before they sell out. Do it. Do it now!

The film is narrated by James Wilks, a former UFC fighter and trainer for the US military. Throughout the film, viewers can expect to see Wilks follow a diverse cast of athletes and experts in nutrition and medical science to show how a plant-based diet can impact performance.

“I put every preconception I had about nutrition to the test, traveling to four continents to meet with dozens of the world’s strongest, fastest, and toughest athletes, as well as leading experts on athletics, nutrition, and anthropology,” Wilks said on The Game Changers website.
We’ve explored the plant-based diet before and asked similar questions as Wilks does in the film, addressing questions like: Can you build muscle with plant-based nutrition? We’re excited to see where the film’s narrative takes viewers.
