The mammoth squat in particular was a new personal record for Bavoil, and it also exceeded the previous 63-kilogram IPF squat record of 205 kilograms, which she held herself and had set roughly a year prior in September 2021.
According to OpenPowerlifting, Bavoil’s previous competition best in the squat was 210.5 kilograms (464 pounds), which she hit while weighing a little over her Arnold UK bodyweight of 63 kilos.

From Redemption to Records

According to her Instagram account, “a hard failure to digest” is how she described missing weight for the recent 2022 IPF World Classic Powerlifting Championships in June, noting that her appearance at the Arnold was an opportunity to “rise up stronger than ever.”
