Brian Shaw, a four-time winner of the World’s Strongest Man, recently uploaded a video on his YouTube channel showing a full day of training during his preparation for the World’s Ultimate Strongman competition in Dubai.
He trained a variety of different strongman movements but perhaps the best part was when his wife joined him to train the truck pull. Last month, Shaw actually lost to his wife in an epic workout challenge and we’ve been looking forward to seeing her appear in another video.
Keri Shaw is a self-proclaimed fitness enthusiast and also posts videos regularly doing CrossFit® workouts. She can clearly hang with the strongmen, and while she didn’t participate in all of the training in this video, she was called on to help out with the truck pulls.

“Just so you know, this isn’t a challenge,” Brian said just under the 10-minute mark in the video.
“If it were, I’d win,” Keri joked back. The two clearly have a lot of competitive energy, but Shaw said above all else his wife just really helps push him to be his best during training.

“She’s definitely helped me before, so she knows what she’s doing. She tends to push me very hard in these type of things,” Shaw said.
At 10:45 in the video Shaw begins pulling the firetruck, which weighs an incredible 50,000 pounds.

Shaw said that he’s feeling really good going into the competition. The World’s Ultimate Strongman event kicks off on October 25, 2019 and will feature the world’s biggest names in strongman. Some of the names you can expect to see in Dubai along with Shaw are, 2019 World’s Strongest Man, Martins Licis, Hafthor Björnsson, and the Stoltman brothers, just to name a few.
