It wasn’t a bad Thursday night for 52kg powerlifter Marisa Inda who just wrapped up competing at the 2019 USAPL Raw National Championships. Inda competed in the prime time 52kg weight class, and did not disappoint. She dominated her respective weight class and repeated her title as USAPL National Champion for the fifth year straight, and set a new Raw American Deadlift Record at 190kg.
Inda successfully pulled 170kg and 180kg before pulling her crazy impressive 190kg third record breaking attempt on Thursday. Inda is no stranger to setting American records, and previously set the raw deadlift American Record of 187.5kg back in 2017 at the Arnold Grand Prix. Below we’ve provided a recap of all of Inda’s lifts from Thursday night!

Thursday was a big night at USAPL Raw Nats, from Inda’s performance to the -83kg men’s division which proved to be an entertaining battle.
Russel Orhii showed up and snagged first place with a strong total of 828.5kg despite criticizing his own performance on social media. Even though Orhii wasn’t pleased with his performance, his third attempt squat broke an American record and his lifts were enough to get the job done and place first. He squatted 313.5kg, bench pressed 192.5kg, and deadlifted 327.5kg.
Friday will be a big day in Illinois with 93kg athlete Jonathan Cayco lifting in the prime time slot for the men, and make sure you keep an eye out for the epic showdown in the 63kg women’s division between Meghan Scanlon and Jennifer Millican.
