2022 Bikini Olympia Pre-Judging Report

FIfty four Bikini athletes are vying for the crown in Las Vegas, NV.

One of the most competitive divisions at the 2022 Olympia is the Bikini contest. Four past champions, Jennifer Dorie, Janet Layug, Elisa Pecini, and Ashley Kaltwasser, all wanted to add another trophy to their mantles, while Lauralie Chapados sought her first Olympia win.

The contest itself began at the Venetian Expo Center in Las Vegas, NV. Counting the previously mentioned contenders, there were 54 athletes vying for a top 10 position to advance to the finals at the Zappos Theater later in the day.

During the introductions, Chapados’ fans showed their support proudly. Kaltwasser and Pecini received loud ovations as well. As the defending Bikini Olympia champion, Dorie was introduced last. A native of Canada, she now calls Las Vegas home, and the fans cheered loudly at her appearance.

After the athletes were lined up onstage, head judge Sandy Williamson began the comparisons.

All four former champions were in the first callout, which was expected by many. Dorie was in the middle, with Kaltwasser and Maureen Blanquisco on either side of her.

The final callout featured Dorie, Kaltwasser, Blanquisco, and Daraja Hill, which represents the favorites going into the night show at the Zappos Theater.

The 2022 Olympia Schedule

Below is the schedule for the rest of the 2022 Olympia weekend. The divisions below are listed in the same order as they appear on the schedule of mrolympia.com/weekend-schedule.

The start times for each division’s pre-judging and finals have not been announced. The morning and evening sessions on Dec. 17, 2022, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., respectively.
