2022 IWF Junior World Weightlifting Championships Results

A bevy of Junior world records fell in Heraklion, Greece.

The 2022 IWF Junior World Championships have come to a close. The contest opened on May 2 and closed on May 10 in Heraklion, Greece and saw multiple Junior world records fall.

Hampton Morris in the 61-kilogram class hit a Junior world record clean & jerk of 160 kilograms (352.7 pounds). Rizki Juniansyah scored a new Junior world record snatch at 73-kilograms by locking out 156 kilograms (344 pounds). In the heavier weight categories, Bohdan Hoza hit a 195-kilogram (430-pound) snatch Junior world record in the 109-kilogram class, and Alireza Yousefi clean & jerked a new Junior world record of 239 kilograms (527 pounds) in the +109-kilogram division.
