Andrea Presti wins the 2022 Mr. Big Evolution Pro Men’s Open bodybuilding title. On July 10, 2022, Presti entered the contest as the defending champion and left Estoril, Portugal, as a two-time champion. This is his second pro victory.
Presti earned qualification to the 2022 Mr. Olympia contest, which will be held Dec. 16-18 in Las Vegas, NV. Andrea Muzi finished as the runner-up, improving by five ranks from the 2021 contest. Peter Klancir of Croatia rounded out the top three. The Men’s Open top 10 are below:

Winner — Andrea Presti
Presti was the runner-up in the 2022 Orlando Pro, which Hassan Mostafa won. His poses from the side and the back, while appearing more shredded, gave him the edge in Portugal. In his side chest pose, his hamstrings made his legs appear much more prominent, and the judges could see the definition in his lower back, known as the “Christmas Tree” because of how it looks. There is no word yet on if Presti will compete again before the Olympia.
Second Place — Andrea Muzi
Muzi and Presti battled in prejudging through each pose. Muzi’s legs appeared bigger than Presti’s, but Presti’s glutes and hamstrings had more detail, which may have been why he got the win. Muzi’s strengths were in the front shots. His quads stood out in the abs and thigh pose, which improves each time he competes. If Muzi competes again this season, he should be in the mix for whatever title he shoots for.

Third Place — Peter Klancir
Klancir placed fifth at the 2022 California State Pro in June, but he looked better at this contest. He had a nice balance between the upper and lower body. He looked best in certain poses, such as the front lat spread. In this case, it may not have been anything he did wrong. It was just the top two nailed their peaks for the stage perfectly.
Other Divisions
There were 10 IFBB Pro League divisions represented at the 2022 Mr. Big Evolution show, and the top finishers are listed below. Each division’s winner earned qualifications for the 2022 Olympia. The top five finishers earned Tier 4 points in the Olympia Qualification System. The top three in that system in each division at the end of the season will also advance to the 2022 Olympia.
