The 2022 Strongman Champions League (SCL) Portugal contest was held on Aug. 6, 2022. Twelve of the world’s elite strongmen converged on Esposende, Portugal, to compete in five events — Deadlift, Frame Carry, Log Lift, Conan’s Wheel, and a Medley. George Sulaiman of the Netherlands claimed victory, scoring 51 of a possible 60 points.
According to Strongman Archives, 2022 SCL Portugal was Sulaiman’s first international win across the five premiere strongman events he has competed in since making his debut at the 2019 Strongest Man in Netherlands contest. Check out the results below:

Sulaiman won two of the five events — Deadlift and Conan’s Wheel — finished third in the Frame Carry and Medley, and tied for fifth in the Log Lift. His consistent performance eclipsed two-time World’s Strongest Man (WSM) competitor Toots by four points.
