Winner — JunHo Lee
Lee was one of the few men in this show with Olympia experience, and he picked his spot carefully. This was his 2023 season debut, but if he had not won this show, he wouldn’t have qualified for the Olympia because the cutoff for qualifying is Oct. 9, 2023.
This was a close contest because he only defeated Choi by two points on the scorecards, meaning that some of the judges had Choi as the winner. Nonetheless, a win is a win, and Lee can now focus on the Olympia, where he hopes to break into the top 15. He was unable to do so in his 2022 Olympia appearance.
Second Place — Bong Seok Choi
Choi was in the same position as Lee, making his first appearance of the 2023 season, needing to win to qualify for the 2023 Olympia. However, comparisons didn’t go in Choi’s favor, so he will not be eligible to compete in the Olympia.
Choi can shift focus to the 2024 Olympia because qualifying events begin on the weekend of Oct. 14, 2023.

Third Place — Joshua Eng Cherng Shin
The last time Shin competed onstage was in August at the 2023 Tokyo Pro to a seventh-place finish. He was significantly improved at this show, scoring the highest finish of his pro career.
Shin ranked one point behind Choi, making it a tight contest. Expect Shin to be in the mix for titles in the 2024 season.
