2024 Giants Live World Tour Open Results

The 2024 Giants Live World Tour Open occurred on Sept. 7, 2024, in Birmingham, England. The single-day contest featured the 2024 Log Lift Challenge, where Cheick “Iron Biby” Sanou set the world record log lift to 231 kilograms. The log lift challenge was considered the first of five events. The others were the Arm-Over-Arm Pull, Deadlift, Sandbag Toss, and Power Stairs.

2023 World’s Strongest Man (WSM) Mitchell Hooper ascended the podium, scoring 48.5 points — four more than runner-up Maxime Boudreault.

2024 World Log Lift Challenge

  3. Maxime Boudreault — 185 kilograms (T-third)
  4. Luke Richardson — 185 kilograms (T-third)
  5. Thomas Evans — 185 kilograms (T-third)

  7. Nathan Goltry — 185 kilograms (T-third)
  8. Evan Singleton — 170 kilograms (T-eighth)

Iron Biby lifted as a special guest in this event and extended his previous log lift world record by one kilogram to 231 kilograms.

Power Stairs

With one minute on the clock, each strongman attempted to ascend 15 total stairs. Each weight — 200, 210, 225, 240, and 250 kilograms — was ascended three stairs each.
