Men’s Physique Athletes to Watch
There are 14 competitors slated to be in the men’s physique show. These three are contenders that many fans are keeping their eyes on:
Alejandro Ruiz Borrego
Alejandro Ruiz Borrego of Spain is coming off a runner-up finish at the 2024 Musclecontest International Philippines Pro, won by Joven Sagabain. That was Borrego’s career-best finish, so he has momentum going into this show.
Charly Chau
Charly Chau was the highest finisher from the 2023 contest, ranked fourth, competing in the 2024 edition. He has not competed in a pro show since that competition, meaning we may see an even better version of him when he takes the stage this time.
Tyler Smith
Tyler Smith has not won a pro show since entering the pro league in 2021, but he has been in the hunt on more than one occasion. His best finish in 2024 was the Toronto Pro Supershow, finishing in fourth overall. He can get the judges’ attention in a small show like this, and anything can happen after that.
