The penultimate event for the 2024 Rogue Strongman Invitational was the Yoke Escalator. Strongmen saw the strongwomen compete in the event moments before taking the field to learn that the event was all about speed.
Defending champion Mitchell Hooper’s consistency through the first four events earned him the overall lead coming into the event. Hafthor Björnsson and Tom Stoltman were mounting comebacks to attempt to claim the crown for themselves.
The Yoke Escalator event comprised a 900-pound yoke walk into a trio of power stairs with implements weighing 500, 550, and 600 pounds. Hooper’s prowess on the yoke continues to be the best in the world, and he secured the event win and effectively made his overall lead insurmountable.
