The 2024 Rogue Strongman Invitational will occur on Nov. 8-10, 2024, as part of the 2024 Rogue Invitational at P&J Live in Aberdeen, Scotland — the first time the contest is hosted outside the USA. Ten of the world’s top strongmen, representing six countries, have been invited to compete for the largest prize purse in the sport.

2023 Rogue Strongman Invitational champion Mitchell Hooper is slated to attempt a title defense. He will be challenged by 2018 World’s Strongest Man (WSM) Hafthor Björnsson and three-time reigning WSM champion Tom Stoltman, among others.

The 2024 Rogue Strongman Invitational events veer more toward the strengths of athletes who are agile on their feet. Only one event, the max deadlift, favors the athletes who prefer static strength events.
Hooper is certainly the favorite to retain the title, given that Tom Stoltman, who ranked second in 2023, is recovering from injury. Björnsson has been one of Hooper’s most challenging contenders throughout 2024, but Hooper is undoubtedly favored in the events that require agility.
Singleton and Kordiyaka are both fast-footed strongmen who could pose breakout performances through this slate of events.

The prize payout is expected to increase in the leadup to the contest, as Rogue provided the 1 million dollar cash investment plus $275,000 worth of Bitcoin purchased at $35,000 per coin, the value of which could fluctuate.
