Wellness Division Athletes to Watch
This is the only Wellness division show on the schedule for this particular weekend, and none of the athletes competing here have qualified for the 2024 Olympia before this show. The following athletes are among the early favorites to take the win and Olympia roster spot.
Renata Guaraciaba
Renata Guaraciaba is coming off a fifth-place finish at the 2024 Arnold South America contest, held on the weekend of April 6-7. Rayane Fogal won that show.
Guaraciaba was a 2023 Olympia athlete, finishing tied for 16th in the Wellness Olympia. She previously competed in the Figure division and tied for 16th at that year’s Figure Olympia. She has competed in Wellness since 2021.
Michelle Ibata
Michelle Ibata is the only other athlete in the lineup with Olympia experience. She placed 16th at the 2022 Wellness Olympia, held in Las Vegas. Thanks to her win at the 2022 Shawn Ray Hawaiian Classic, she qualified for the 2023 Olympia but did not compete in that show.
April Desiree
April Desiree will compete for the first time in the 2024 season and her second time as a pro. Her pro debut was at the 2023 Sur Pro Cup Colombia contest, where she ranked third overall behind Elisa Alcantara.
