The 2024 USA Strongman Championships (USASC), promoted by Giants Live, occurred on Sept. 28, 2024, in Las Vegas, NV. Not only did 10 of the world’s strongest men compete for glory and prize, a handful of the world’s more elite deadlifters were also in attendance to compete in the opening event: The 2024 World Deadlift Championships.
Unfortunately, no athlete eclipsed the heaviest deadlift ever pulled of 501 kilograms. However, the feats of strength were not amiss as Mitchell Hooper took the overall gold in the USASC, scoring 47 of a possible 50 points.
