How They Qualified
Competitors could enter this competition in one of three ways: as a past champion within the last five years, placing in the top three in the 2023 Women’s Physique Olympia, or by winning a show throughout the qualifying season.
Past champions outside of the most recent five years can enter with permission from the IFBB Pro League. Special invites could be issued to other competitors by the promoters. Neither situation is expected in 2024.
Past Champions
The last two champions of this division will compete in 2024. Three-time defending champion Sarah Villegas and 2022 champion Natalia Abraham Coelho have been in one of the longest and competitive rivalries in recent memory.
Coelho was a top contender for multiple years before finally winning the title in Las Vegas in 2022. Villegas ranked second that year.
Villegas returned to the Olympia stage in 2023 in arguably her best shape ever and regained the title from Coelho. If Villegas wins the 2024 contest, she will tie Juliane Malacarne for the most titles in the division’s history with four.
If Coelho wins her second crown, she will join Villegas as the only competitors to regain the title after losing it in this division.
Top Contenders
If neither Villegas or Coelho win, the new champion will be the sixth in the division’s history. 2023 bronze medalist Elisama Manoel Benta Zorzetto, also known as Zama Benta, won the 2024 Texas Pro and 2024 Tampa Pro despite being qualified for the 2024 Olympia already. Benta is expected to join the two past champions in the first callout.
2024 Europa Pro winner Barbara Menage will return to the stage after missing the 2023 Olympia. She ranked fourth in 2022, 2021, and 2020.
A strange fact of this contest: none of the rest of the top 15 from the 2023 Olympia will compete in the 2024 contest, which leaves the door wide open for new stars to assume the spotlight.
Dark Horses
One of those new stars is Marika Jones, who will make her Olympia debut after winning the 2024 St. Louis Pro.
2024 Omaha Pro winner Susan Graham is not new to the division, but will make her Olympia debut after 12 years of trying to qualify. She will make the most out of the opportunity, and a top six finish is possible.
2024 Pittsburgh Pro winner Natalie Rae Wolfe could make an impact in this contest as well.
