2025 ASWC Timber Carry Recap
Dixson was first to the timber as the athletes went in reverse order of their performance in the Overhead Gauntlet. Dixson entered the event in 12th overall and, therefore, carried first. She had a smooth run of 11.41 seconds as the opening time.
Belliveau ran second and couldn’t budge the timber after lifting in at the start of the ramp. Stowers coverted the timber to the top in just under 20 seconds. Murray dropped the timber after a reasonable start and then was unable to lift it again.
Roberts scorched the course in under nine seconds. Underdown tried to match pace, but finished the carry in just over nine seconds. Then, Carrasquillo entered the scene and blitzed the course to take the event lead.
Jardine had a good run until dropping the timber right before the top of the platform, securing a time of just over 20 seconds. Liashchuck had a swift pace and locked in just over nine seconds.
Roberts was allowed a second attempt at the timber that secured an event-winning time of sub-eight seconds.
