If you’re looking for a reason to hit “buy” on those 2025 CrossFit Games in Albany, NY, now is the time to act and support your favorite athlete or team in the process.
- Tickets for the three-day event (August 1-3) have been available to the public since April 1, with access for affiliate owners and previous ticket holders starting in March.
CrossFit is currently offering two discount options that fans can jump on.
Flash Sale: 40% Off 2025 CrossFit Games Tickets
CrossFit is offering 40% off during a flash sale via this link until May 23 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
- To unlock the discount, use code ‘CFG40’.
Ticket options are available for non-finish-line-adjacent sections, as shown in the map below:
With this discount, the ticket price drops from $324.80 to $199.80 for the lowest price option.
For the best available seats, the price decreases from $796.35 to $482.75.
Athlete Discount Codes
Several athletes have told Morning Chalk Up that discount codes for 20%-off Games tickets have been provided to qualifying athletes and “influencers” to share with fans.
As an incentive, CrossFit included the following note with the discount codes:
- “We will keep track of how many times the code is used, and you’ll earn $50 USD for each ticket sold — we will pay you for your efforts after the 2025 CrossFit Games.”
The codes are unique to each team or athlete, allowing CrossFit to monitor their usage. The $50 per ticket incentive can significantly support teams and athletes in raising funds to cover travel costs and expenses to get to Albany this August.
While we have heard of a few codes, we don’t want to play favorites. It’s best to keep an eye on your favorite athlete’s social media for more details.
Worth noting: On his most recent Week in Review, Dave Castro mentioned that he also has a 20%-off code for fans, although as a CrossFit employee, he will not receive any additional compensation.
How Are Ticket Sales Doing So Far?
In previous years, tickets for Carson and Madison almost sold out during the affiliate presale or, similar to last year, within hours of going on sale to the public. In 2024, Dickies Arena sold out in four hours.
- This year, ticket sales are lagging. Nearly every section in the MVP Arena has multiple seats available about two months after the public sale began.
Here is a picture from Ticketmaster shortly after the public sale opened on April 1:
Here is the same seat availability map as of May 20:
On both maps, the blue dots represent available seats; the May 20 map features pink dots that indicate seats being resold by current ticket holders. Many sections still have over 100 seats available in the upper and lower sections, some of which include front-row seating options.
The bottom line: While ticket sales have been slower than in previous years, CrossFit is finding creative ways to incentivize potential fans and athletes.
