Men’s Open Athletes to Watch
The main event is the Men’s Open contest, which will award $140,000 to the winner — the third largest individual prize purse of the season. The following three athletes will likely be in the mix to win the title:
Behrooz Tabani
Behrooz Tabani is the defending champion. Despite winning and qualifying for the Olympia in past years, travel issues have prohibited him from competing at the Olympia.
If Tabani wins this show, it would allow him over three months to prepare for the Olympia and find a way to travel to Las Vegas.
William Bonac
William Bonac finished second to Tabani in 2024 but is already qualified for the 2025 Olympia thanks to his win at the 2025 Detroit Pro. Bonac is competing for prize money, so his Olympia qualification is not at risk if he loses.
Nathan DeAsha
Nathan DeAsha is among the winningest athletes in his category, with 12 pro victories. He has yet to qualify for the 2025 Olympia but has said in the past that it did not make business sense for him to compete on that stage. Whether he competes in the Olympia season remains to be seen, but he will likely be in callouts with Tabani and Bonac for the win.
