Men’s Open Athletes to Watch

The main event is the Men’s Open lineup. 2024 champion William Bonac is not in this show, which guarantees a new champion. It will likely be one of the following three contenders:

Sasan Heirati

2025 Toronto Pro Supershow champion Sasan Heirati is qualified for the 2025 Olympia. If he wins in Spain, no qualification will be awarded. If he loses, his Olympia roster spot is not at risk.

Angel Calderon Frias

Angel Calderon Frias represents the host country. He has previously won the Open and 212 divisions. He is already qualified for the 2025 212 Olympia. If he wins this contest, he will qualify for the Mr. Olympia, but would only be allowed to compete in one division at the 2025 Olympia.

Justin Musiol

Justin Musiol was seventh in this contest in 2024. The only man who finished ahead of him in that show and is also in the 2025 contest is Heirati, who finished fourth that year. Musiol will be seeking his first pro win and Olympia qualification.
