Kassandra Gillis has won the 2025 Sampson Showdown Pro. The Wellness division show was held in Las Vegas, NV, on Saturday, Mar. 29, 2025, featuring 14 IFBB Professional League athletes. Gillis was one of three Canadians in the lineup and the last to hold center stage. Sandra Colorado Acal of Spain took silver, and bronze was awarded to Nicole Stewart.

Winner — Kassandra Gillis
Gillis won this contest with a perfect score from the judges. She was coming off a fourth-place finish at the 2025 Wellness International but redeemed herself very well in this contest. She is now eligible to compete at the 2025 Wellness Olympia, also set for Las Vegas on Oct. 9-12, 2025. She can keep competing throughout the season or sit out until the Olympia. Even if she competes again and loses, she will remain Olympia-qualified.
Second Place — Sandra Colorado Acal
Acal was unanimously chosen as the runner-up by the judges in this show. Terrick El Guindy was the head judge for this contest. Acal has until Sept. 14, 2025. to win a show if she wants to join Gillis on the Olympia stage. Only show winners not previously qualified can earn qualifications at this season stage.
Third Place — Nicole Stewart
This was the start of Stewart’s third season in the pro ranks. She added size to her physique since she last competed at the 2024 Houston Tournament of Champions Pro, where she finished second.
Other Notes
There were two Masters shows at this contest as well. Guadalupe Concepcion Meza Saldana took the title in the Over 35 category, and the Over 40 winner was Joy Bey.
