The 2025 World’s Strongest Man (WSM) contest is set for May 15-18, 2025, in Sacramento, CA. The competition returns to the California State Railroad Museum.
Twenty-five of the world’s top strongmen will compete in the qualifying round, broken into five athletes per group. The winners and runners-up in each group will advance to the 10-strongman final.
The athletes will compete in five events during the two-day qualifying stage. The finalists will clash during two additional days of competition, comprising five events.

BarBend will be on the ground covering the competition live in Sacramento, CA. The WSM contest was held in Myrtle Beach, SC, in 2023-24. This is the contest’s return to Sacramento; it was most recently the host city in 2022, when Tom Stoltman won his second WSM title.
