How To Watch the 2023 HYROX World Championships

The biggest event in the sport takes place on May 26, 2023, in Manchester, UK.

The 2023 HYROX World Championships are upon us. The biggest event of the year for the functional fitness racing sport occurs on May 26-27, 2023, at the Manchester Central Convention Centre in Manchester, UK.

2023 HYROX World Championship Coverage Schedule

The Elite 15 male competitors and Elite 15 female competitors, all of whom qualified for having one of the top 15 times from an HYROX competition during the 2022/2023 season, will compete for the $85,000 prize pool.

The entire competition will be streamed live on hyrox.com with the following schedule (all times in EST):

Friday, May 26, 2023

  • Opening ceremony — 12:20 p.m.
  • Elite 15 Women’s Race — 2:00 p.m.
  • Elite 15 Mens Race — 3:15 pm

Age Group and Doubles competition will occur on May 27, 2023.

Race Structure

For time:

  • One-Kilometer Run
  • Ski Erg — 100 meters
  • One-Kilometer Run
  • Sled Push — 50 meters
  • One-Kilometer Run
  • Sled Pull — 50 meters
  • One-Kilometer Run
  • Burpee Broad Jumps — 80 meters
  • One-Kilometer Run
  • Row — 1000 meters
  • One-Kilometer Run
  • Farmer’s Carry — 200 meters
  • One-Kilometer Run
  • Sandbag Lunges — 100 meters
  • One-Kilometer Run
  • Wall Balls — 75/100 reps

As is the structure for every HYROX event worldwide, the 2023 HYROX World Championships will consist of eight 1-kilometer runs splitting up eight workouts that feature SkiErg, Sled Pushes and Pulls, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmer’s Carries, Sandbag Lunges, and Wall Balls. The athlete in each division with the fastest time wins.
