2024 Wodapalooza Miami Individual Event 2 Results
After the first workout, “Double or Nothin,” at the 2024 TYR Wodapalooza Miami contest at Bayfront Park in Miami, FL, which saw Guilherme Malheiros and Julia Hannaford score first-place points, athletes were ready to tackle the second event, “Cortadito.”

Elite Individual Women’s Results
2023 CrossFit Games podium-finisher Arielle Loewen took the event win here, making a strong comeback from a 22nd-place finish in Event 1. Loewen came in four seconds ahead of Jessica Androsik.
Emma Cary, who came in eighth place overall at the 2023 CrossFit Games, showed up strong in this event, taking third place for herself.

Elite Individual Men’s Results
In this post-event interview, Colton Mertens vowed to keep delivering wins. And with a 30-plus second lead over his competitors in Event 2, his hype was understandable. Mertens made extremely quick work of Cortadito, blazing through all rounds of work in just over seven minutes.
Reigning Rogue Invitational champ Pat Vellner secured a calm and steady second place in the event, while Ricky Garard climbed his way back up the leaderboard after a disappointing 14th-place finish in the first event.

The only remaining Elite Individual workout scheduled for day one of the competition is titled “Deja Vu.” It will challenge athletes to the following:

Part A: Three minutes. Part B: Five minutes. Part C: For time (eight-minute time cap). One minute rest between each part.
