Noah Ohlsen Discusses Coming Back from Discusses First Day at Wodapalooza
After a disappointing Day 1, Noah Ohlsen logged back-to-back third place finishes to move from 19th back up to 7th.
“I had a rough day yesterday. This morning I had to let that all go and just kinda flip the switch and bring the real me to the competition. I was able to do that on the swim.”
Ohlsen took third in Events 4 and 5 despite competing in the first heat.
“That was a little boost of confidence I needed to get back into the swing of things,” Ohlsen said.
Ohlsen finished Day 1 sitting in 19th place after a disappointing 28th place finish on Event 1, Baywatch.
“I was comfortably in the lead until we got to the last buoy and then I just started locking up,” Ohlsen said. “I must have gone out a little too hot and it hit me in the middle of the run and I went from first all the way back to 28th.”
Ohlsen ends day 2 sitting in 7th overall.
