Zhivko Petkov has won the 2024 Musclecontest Ireland Pro Classic Physique show. The contest was held on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at the University Concert Hall in Limerick, Ireland.
The Bulgarian bodybuilder was the best of six IFBB Pro League competitors in the judges’ eyes and was rewarded with a qualification to compete at the 2024 Classic Physique Olympia in Las Vegas, NV, on Oct. 10-13, 2024.

Paul Kamu and German Pastor took second and third, respectively. The final placings below, courtesy of the IFBB Pro League:

Winner — Zhivko Petkov
This was Petkov’s second show of 2024. He ranked tenth at the Empro Pro on June 14-15, 2024. His improvements and a smaller lineup in Ireland helped him achieve his first pro win in his second season. The pre-judging round was the only round held in this contest, and he won it with a perfect score.
Second Place — Paul Kanu
Kanu’s last show before this was the 2023 Fitworld Pro, where he placed fourth. He looked better in his 2024 season debut but ranked one spot short of qualifying for the 2024 Olympia.
Kanu has until Sept. 15, 2024, to win a pro show and join Petkov in Las Vegas. Kanu has been a pro since 2021 but is still hunting his first pro win.
Third Place — German Pastor
This was Pastor’s fifth show of the 2024 season, resulting in his third top-three finish. However, he has yet to win a pro show. The 2023 Olympia competitor must compete at least once more to return to the big stage in Las Vegas.
Other Notes
Another Classic Physique contest was held at the 2024 Indy Pro in Carmel, IN, on Saturday, June 29, 2024, and won by Tyler Johnson. However, Johnson was already Olympia-qualified. Thus, no qualification was awarded at that event.
The next three Classic Physique shows on the 2024 calendar are all on the same weekend. The Orlando Pro is in Orlando, FL, on July 6, the Huanji China Pro in Sanya, China, and Mr. Big Evolution Pro Estoril, Portugal, on July 7. All three are 2024 Olympia qualifying events.
