Jenna Stangland is a board certified sports dietitian nutritionist with 10 years of experience in performance nutrition. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Genetics and Cell Biology from University of Minnesota. She went on to get her Master’s degree in medical dietetics and sports nutrition at The Ohio State University where she researched iron levels in female runners. She enjoys the integration of cellular biology and functional nutrition to optimize athletic performance.
She is now an ambassador for performance supplement company Momentous, directs the performance nutrition department for the Minnesota Timberwolves NBA team, and is also the lead team dietitian for the NHL’s Minnesota Wild. Jenna supports her athletes through individualized performance nutrition programming because every athlete’s gut is a unique fingerprint to them, and she believes their food plan should also be individualized. Food can be used as a training strategy to make any average athlete rise to their highest abilities, and Jenna is passionate about supporting that process.
