Iron Biby has been in a challenge against himself to further the log lift world record ever since claiming it from four-time World’s Strongest Man (WSM) Zydrunas Savickas with his 229-kilogram lift at the 2021 Giants Live World Tour Finals.
Two years later, Iron Biby tacked on another kilogram, bringing the world record log lift to 230 kilograms. That same year, he displayed in training that he has the strength to lift more than the current world record when he lifted 233.5 kilograms overhead — 2.5 kilograms more than what he just celebrated in Birmingham.
So while Iron Biby’s achievement is worth the trophy and spectacle he received at the 2024 World Log Lift Championships, his training suggests that he’s far from done changing the log lift record.
