How to Qualify
As with the other pro divisions, past champions are qualified for life. However, Olympia champions who have not won a pro show in five years must obtain permission from the IFBB Pro League. The top three from the 2023 Olympia are also automatically qualified for the 2024 edition of the contest.
IFBB pro show winners throughout the qualifying season can compete at the 2024 Olympia. The only other method to take the stage is by special invite, and none are expected to be issued.
Notable Absences
Five-time Olympia champion and 2023 winner Oksana Grishina withdrew as an expecting mother. As a result, a new champion is guaranteed. Three-time winner Whitney Jones is also not on the roster despite being qualified. Her reason for not competing is unknown.
One of the top contenders was three-time Fitness International winner Ariel Khadr. However, she also had to step aside due to a neck injury. She ranked fourth in 2023.
Past Champions
Missy Truscott is the lone former champion in the lineup. Truscott could not finish the 2023 contest due to an injury she suffered during her performance onstage in Orlando, FL.
Truscott has been medically cleared to compete in Las Vegas and is a favorite to win the title. If she succeeds, she will become the fifth competitor to win three Fitness Olympias.
Top Contenders
If Truscott does not win, then whoever does will be the 12th champion in the contest’s 30-year history. The top two contenders that are in the mix to win their first championship are 2023 runner-up Taylor Learmont and third-place finisher Jaclyn Baker.
The highlight of Baker’s 2024 season was winning the 2024 Fitness International UK at the 2024 Arnold Classic UK weekend.
Learmont has her sights set on Las Vegas but planned ahead and won the 2024 Titans Grand Prix Pro contest to earn an early qualification for the 2025 Olympia. Regardless of what happens at the 2024 Olympia, her spot in the 2025 contest is secured.
2024 Vancouver Pro winner Tamara Vahn should not be ignored. Although she was not in the 2023 Olympia, she has finished as high as sixth in the past. With so many top contenders absent, this could be the year Vahn is among the last athletes standing.
Dark Horses
Michaela Pavleova, who won the 2024 Europa Pro to claim the last qualifying spot on this roster, could break into the top five. She ranked eighth in the 2023 Olympia.
In 2024, we could see new stars emerge from this division. Amy Hamilton of Spain and Cerise Decardenas of the United States will make their Olympia debuts.
Other Notes
Both rounds of this contest will be part of the 2024 Olympia pay-per-view, which will stream all 11 pro divisions and the 2024 Amateur Olympia live in Las Vegas. Fans watching from home can purchase the stream through the Olympia Productions website.
