Men’s Open Athletes to Watch
The Pittsburgh Pro has had a Men’s Open guest posing exhibition for years, featuring some of the division’s top stars. This year, they have added the category as a competition. These three big-name athletes go in as early favorites.
Derek Lunsford
The 2023 Mr. Olympia and 2025 Arnold Classic winner has said that he sees the Pittsburgh Pro as a show that would complete a triple crown if he wins. He goes into this contest as the early favorite.
As a former Olympia champion, Lunsford does not need the Olympia qualification offered at this show. Therefore, a win for him means blocking the qualification awarded at this event.
Nick Walker
This will be Nick Walker’s 2025 season debut and his first contest since the 2024 New York Pro. He has missed the Olympia for the last two years and does need to win this if he wants to be on the Olympia stage in Las Vegas, NV, on Oct. 9-12. Walker has won the New York Pro twice and was the 2021 Arnold Classic champion.
Martin Fitzwater
Martin Fitzwater is in a similar situation to Lunsford. He won the 2024 Prague Pro, which qualified him for the 2025 Olympia. Fitzwater finished one spot behind Lunsford on the Olympia stage, meaning Fitzwater is a threat to overtake Lunsford in this contest, giving him momentum into the Olympia. Fitzwater ranked second to Walker at the 2024 New York Pro.
How to Watch the 2025 Pittsburgh Pro
Fans who cannot make it to the Steel City to watch the Pittsburgh Pro live can still see all the action through their livestream. Details can be found on the promoter’s website.
