Kai Wang has won the 2025 World of Monsterzym Korea Classic Physique Pro. This contest, held in Gyeonggi State, South Korea, on May 17, featured only four men, the smallest lineup for this category of the season.
Thanks to this win, Wang is now qualified for the 2025 Classic Physique Olympia, which will be held on Oct. 9-12, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV, as part of the Olympia Weekend.

Winner — Kai Wang
Wang earned a perfect score from the judges, including Becky Clawson, the head judge. This is his first pro win and Olympia qualification. He is in his second full season as a pro. Wang can now wait until the Olympia to compete again, or he can keep entering shows with hopes of preventing others from winning and qualifying as well. Even if Wang enters another show and loses, his own qualification is not at risk.
Second Place — Sanghoon Yeon
Yeon turned pro by winning the overall Men’s Bodybuilding title at the NPC Worldwide Korea Open Regionals 2 contest, held on the same weekend in the same venue. He then made his pro debut in this show as a Classic Physique athlete. Wang was the clear winner, but a runner-up finish in his pro debut makes him a contender for future shows if he continues to compete this season.
Third Place — Kakhyun Kim
This was Kim’s second show of the season. Before this, he finished ninth at the 2025 China DMS Pro. He has until Sept. 14, 2025, to win a contest if he also wants to punch his ticket to the Olympia.
Other Notes
Two other competitions took place on this particular weekend. German Pastor will join Wang on the Olympia stage as the winner of the 2025 Musclecontest Bullman Pro, which was held in Dublin, Ireland. Terrence Ruffin won the 2025 New York Pro but had previously qualified for the Olympia.
