The 2025 Tokyo Pro will occur on Aug. 8-9 in Tokyo, Japan. Athletes from the IFBB Pro League’s Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, and Bikini divisions will face judges and fans in attendance with hopes of winning their categories to qualify for the 2025 Olympia, set for Oct. 9-12 in Las Vegas, NV. Classic Physique Athletes to Watch
Twenty-five athletes will represent the Classic Physique division, but these three are considered favorites for this contest:
Alex Cambronero
Cambronero has an impressive resume of accomplishments, including the 2020 Arnold Classic Physique title and the 2023 Masters Olympia championship. He has yet to qualify for the 2025 Classic Physique Olympia, however. A win here would resolve that.
Murat Can
Murat Can won bronze in the 2024 Tokyo Pro. He is the highest finisher from that contest in the 2025 edition. He ranked fourth at the 2025 New York Pro and fifth at the Pittsburgh Pro. He is in his second pro season seeking his first Olympia qualification.
Kelvin Obinna
This is Kelvin Obinna pro debut. He earned pro status in 2024 by winning the NPC Worldwide Musclecontest Vietnam’s overall Classic Physique championship. Some fans internationally see him as the dark horse pick to win this show.
