We’re now into the second half of Wodapalooza, and this Sanctional has been entertaining, inspiring, and intense. Going into the day, there was a surprise on top of the men’s side while the favorites were in the lead in the women’s field. The teams’ positions were extremely close and it’s anyone’s event to win. Shark Bait
This event included single leg squats, lifting a D-ball over the shoulder, and 300 meter swims. On the men’s side of the field, it was hometown favorite Noah Ohlsen who would take the victory by completing the entire workout in 13 minutes. Taking second place with a time of 13:15 would be Saxon Panchik. Cole Sager was third but that was enough to move him up to the overall lead on points over Travis Williams who finished the first event of the day in 7th.
As for the ladies, Sara Sigmundsdottir went into the day in the overall lead but this is where Tia-Clair Toomey made her move as she takes the victory with a time of 11:57. Sigmundsdottir completed the workout in 10th place so now she and Toomey switch positions on the overall leaderboard.
