Andrew graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and from York University with a Master of Fitness Science. He is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Exercise Physiologist. Andrew has worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for university and college basketball teams as well as with Canada Basketball athletes. In addition to his work in elite sport, Andrew also specializes in working with seniors, helping older adults maintain functional independence and avoid lifestyle-related chronic disease. His professional goal is to make effective training available to everyone who is willing to do the work. He does this through his own coaching, mentoring trainers, and through his blog and online courses. Outside of the gym, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and playing the drums.
