Ben is a multimedia content creator, elite fitness analyst, entrepreneur, and activist. His formal resume includes ten years of digital thought leadership in interactive web experiences and online communities, during which he accumulated a who’s-who of high-profile clients.
On top of working with the likes of Microsoft, Twitter, and Bloomberg, Ben partnered with 2014 Fittest Woman on Earth Camille Leblanc-Bazinet on the launch of her Feroce Fitness company. His contributions to SolarWinds in 2018 gained a unique distinction of serving all 500 of the Fortune 500 list that year, and he’s also a Global ACE Award winner for his work on the New Economy Forum.
In 2017, Ben founded WODDITY, a company providing free tools and resources for CrossFit® affiliates, gym members, and fans. With the layoff of CrossFit’s media staff the following year, WODDITY’s mission expanded to providing news and information to the community.
After 250 episodes of the WODDITY Podcast, 350 news stories, numerous live event streams, and a weekly news show, WODDITY quickly became an important provider of multimedia in the space.
Unfortunately, CrossFit’s then-owner and Chairman Greg Glassman’s comments on the death of George Floyd casted doubt on the future growth of CrossFit as a moral leader in the fitness space, and WODDITY was diversified so CrossFit was no longer its sole focus.
Ben’s efforts now orient toward his work as a commentator and analyst in CrossFit and other elite fitness sports, while WODDITY lives on through the Ben Garves Podcast, now oriented toward general fitness, nutrition, activism, and the idea that Fitness Is for Everyone™.
